Database offline
Laser Tag Gear is a database driven search engine that allows you to browse or search for arena, commercial, or home made laser tag gear. LTG also allows submissions of new gear, additional information, or even corrections to gear currently in the database. Registration is only necessary if you wish to submit information or manage your inventory. Be sure to visit the FAQ for more information.
I have been working on a side project that would enable me to get information up faster then trying to code LTG and then put data in. It is a wiki system for Laser Tag Gear. It can be accessed and visited at www.lasertagwiki.com .

Sorry it has been a while for the last update, but I have been making some changes. I wanted to introduce a little more graphical features and be a little more user friendly. I have made these changes to mainly they login, reset password, and register pages. The profile page had some work done on it too. I also enabled the reset buttons to function correctly to what I had intended. This was a little more difficult on the profile page but not too bad.
I will begin focusing more on LTG to get it up and running at even the most basic level. I understand summer is coming up and I wanted to have this site somewhat functional by then. I will do my best to achieve this and to make it so I don't have to enter these updates directly into the database :)

The database finally has hit a stage where I can stop constantly changing it. There are still some tables I wish to add, but those will be down the road during development. The updates now pull from the database and I also threw in a view profile feature.

A major update has been done to the navigation side code. It is now easier to add or remove links which was a problem in the past. Also, the title bar now displays the current page you are on. I really wanted to get this done before it went live but I will settle for it being done now :). My appologies for anyone who tried to access this site while I was working on it and luckily there is not much on here yet so there were no major problems. Next on the list is to get this front page pulling these updates from the database and displaying them. Would be a lot better then hard coding them :)

With 90% of the database written and reviewed, I have completed the last of the parts needed to make the site live. I have ensured to the best of my ability that the current code works well enough to make live. If there are any bugs please report them via the contact form. I will be moving onto coding the submission of gear (via admin panel only) and then allowing that to be browsed. Submitting gear and Searching gear will be the last two modes to be worked on.

The finaly CSS design is pretty much done along with how the forms/errors will display. There is some functionality still to add to the currently developed pages along with a ton of things to do to the pages which have not been developed yet. The database needs some more tuning to lower the unnessasary complexity of it's design. I believe I have figured out how to handle compatibility between laser tag gear items. It's not very complex at all but it is monotonous. Basically you must attach each compatible gear to the current item you are browsing, and tell how strong the compatibility is, with a small description to input possible problems. You cannot assign whole groups a compatibility within themselves since there can be possible exceptions that would ruin the information.
